Brandon Dawson: The Entrepreneur Who Wants to 10X Your Health

Most people know Brandon Dawson as the guy who can take a company from zero to millions. But here’s the twist: these days, he’s just as focused on living longer and feeling stronger as he is on building businesses.

On a recent episode of “A Healthy Point of View” podcast, Sam Tejada, CEO and Founder of Liquivida®, sat down with Brandon Dawson, CEO and Co-founder of Cardone Ventures and 10X Health Systems, who opened up about his journey.  It’s part small-town grit, part business savvy, and part personal wake-up call about what really matters: your health.

How Brandon Dawson Built 10X Health & 10X’d His Life (Shocking Story) | Ep. 81

Small-Town Beginnings

Dawson’s story starts in Jefferson, Oregon, a place where life was simple but not always easy. His parents divorced when he was young, and he bounced between living with his mom in Minneapolis and his dad back in Oregon.

Those years exposed him to both sides of entrepreneurship. His stepfather was a broke inventor who struggled to make ends meet, while his father eventually built a successful business. Watching both paths gave Brandon an early education in risk, resilience, and the reality of business ownership.

By his late twenties, he had already taken his first company public. Later, he sold Audigy Group, a healthcare-focused business, for $151 million. These wins cemented his reputation as a builder and scaler of companies, and eventually led him to partner with Grant Cardone, creating Cardone Ventures.

Why Wellness?

With a track record like that, why pivot into healthcare? The answer came during the pandemic.

While much of the world shut down, Dawson and his team kept working. To protect themselves, they turned to IV therapy, peptides, and regular blood testing. That personal experience sparked a bigger idea: maybe the real future of healthcare wasn’t in treating disease, it was in preventing it.

“I run my body like I run a business,” Dawson told Sam. “I check the data, track progress, and make decisions based on facts. Why wouldn’t we all do the same with our health?”

That philosophy became the foundation of 10X Health Systems, a company focused on precision health through genetic testing, personalized supplements, and IV therapy.

Precision Over Prescriptions

Traditional medicine tends to take an algorithmic, one-size-fits-all approach. You show up with symptoms, you get the same prescription as the next person. Dawson believes that the model is broken.

Instead, 10X Health is built on personalization. By using genetic testing and real-time blood analysis, they tailor nutrition, supplements, and IV treatments to the individual.

Dawson’s own story makes the case. For years, he ended his evenings with a bowl of watermelon, believing it was a healthy choice. But genetic testing revealed that his body couldn’t process it well. Once he cut it out, he went on to lose 20 pounds.

“It blew my mind,” he said. “All that work on the treadmill, and the problem was watermelon. Something I thought was helping me.”

Lessons From Scaling Fast

In just four years, 10X Health grew from a $1.8 million company into a global brand generating over $120 million in revenue. That kind of growth doesn’t happen without turbulence.

Dawson was candid about the challenges: overwhelmed systems, customer service hiccups, and navigating regulations across multiple states and countries. But instead of seeing those setbacks as failures, he views them as the natural growing pains of rapid expansion.

“Every company that scales fast is going to have hiccups,” he explained. “The key is how you adjust, fix the systems, and keep moving forward.”

The Truth About Partnerships

Dawson also shared insights on partnerships, a common reason businesses fail.

“There are different kinds of partners,” he said. “Some you start with, some you bring in later, some you collaborate with. But in every case, success comes down to clear expectations, strong systems, and aligned values.”

He pointed out that many businesses don’t fail because of money, but because of mismatched partnerships that eventually implode.

Health as the New Wealth

For Dawson, this isn’t just another business venture. It’s a mission. Alongside Grant and Elena Cardone and his wife, Natalie, he aims to reach billions of people with a new model of health, one that emphasizes prevention, optimization, and longevity.

“We don’t even want to call it healthcare,” he said. “If you’re healthy, you don’t need healthcare. This is about human optimization.”

The vision is bold: to create a future where people live longer, stronger, and healthier lives, not just avoiding disease, but thriving at every age.

A Life Built on Impact

From growing up in a small Oregon town to building companies worth hundreds of millions, Brandon Dawson has lived the entrepreneur’s journey in full. But what sets him apart now is how he’s merging business strategy with personal wellness.

For him, success isn’t just about scaling companies anymore. It’s about giving people the tools to reclaim their health, energy, and potential.

As he told Sam, “I’d rather be less rich and healthier. Because at the end of the day, what good is all the money in the world if you don’t feel well enough to enjoy it?”
